Tour DoonHame - Media Accreditation
Wallacehill Events welcomes media journalists and photographers to the Tour DoonHame.
Accreditation to the event is mandatory for journalists requesting a place in an official race vehicle and for press photographers applying to enter a press photo motorcycle in the race convoy. The
Tour DoonHame Race Manual will be made available to media accreditation holders.
Journalists
A limited number of places will
be made available in race vehicles for accredited print and online/new media journalists. To request a place, please complete and return our
Media Accreditation Request Form.
Every effort will be made to accommodate all vehicle placing requests but accreditation to the event does not guarantee a place. In the event that the number of requests exceeds the places available, Wallacehill Events reserves the right to determine the basis upon which places will be allocated. Wallacehill Events cannot enter into correspondence over our media accreditation policy.
You will need to make your own transport arrangements to the stage start and from the stage finish.
Press Photographers
Wallacehill Events regrets that it is unable to provide transport in race vehicles for press photographers.
Press photographers wishing to enter a motorcycle in the race convoy must complete and return our
Media Accreditation Request form.
For race insurance purposes Wallacehill Events require that a National Escort Group (NEG) motorcyclist be engaged to carry a press photographer -
see NEG contact details on British Cycling's website. The admittance of a press photo motorcycle to the race convoy is subject to the approval of the Chief Commissaire appointed to the event by British Cycling. Press photo motorcycles admitted to the race convoy are under the direct control of the Chief Commissaire who will conduct the Tour DoonHame under the relevant Scottish Cycling, British Cycling and UCI technical regulations and the the Tour DoonHame race regulations. Application to enter a press photo motorcycle in the race convoy indicates full acceptance of these regulations.
TV and Radio
The television rights to the Tour DoonHame and all other events in British Cycling's Premier Calendar Series have been assigned. All other TV or radio enquiries should be directed, in the first instance, to
British Cycling.
